A project we recently completed. This house and garden was once an award winning property that was featured on a show hosted by Kirsty Allsop around 14 years ago. Our client had rented out the house for a number of years and the tenant had neglected the garden to a point where it fell into complete disrepair.
We were asked to restore it to its formal glory and recover and reuse any materials we could to keep the overhead costs to a minimum.
We cleared all overgrown vegetation and cut it back to a suitable length. Removed the original w**d membranes and replaced them with heavier duty ones. Removed the original decorative aggregates, screened out all muck and organic materials, washed and replaced. We renewed any rotten timber edgings and replaced them. All edgings are coated in bitumen paint to extend its life.
This one was very labor intensive and we spent a lot of time working through this. I really enjoyed this one as the results speak for themselves. Very happy clients as it was returned to it's formal glory at a fraction of the cost of starting fresh.
