A Chilly Start & A Journey West ❄️☕️
There’s something about those crisp, cold mornings that makes everything feel a little more real.
The kind where your breath hangs in the air, the ground crunches underfoot, and the day ahead feels full of purpose.
Today started just like that.
A chilly start, a hot coffee in hand, and a journey ahead—heading over to the west coast to carry out site surveys for future pods.
It’s one of those parts of the job people don’t always see. The early starts. The miles travelled. The time spent walking land, studying views, and imagining what a space could become.
But honestly, it’s one of the best parts.
Because every site tells a story.
Out on the west coast, the landscape does most of the talking—dramatic skies, open space, and that raw, natural beauty you just can’t replicate. It’s exactly the kind of setting where a well-placed pod can transform not just the land, but the experience people have when they stay there.
That’s what these trips are really about.
Not just measuring up or ticking boxes—but visualising.
Where will the pod sit?
What will the view be when someone opens the door in the morning?
How can we make the most of the surroundings while keeping everything practical and accessible?
At Clan Pods, that’s always been at the heart of what we do—creating spaces that feel connected to their environment, not dropped into it.
And days like today are where it all begins.
From a cold morning…
To an empty piece of land…
To something that, not too long from now, could become a place for someone to switch off, breathe, and just enjoy being there.
That’s the exciting part.
