After a move last year I've set up a small workshop again, so a recent commission completed for a rather pleased client who emailed ;-

The seat had been badly compromised but now back to former glory with this rare one off hand made Ratten Bamboo Rocking Chair, Many Thanks to Mitchell's Fabrics Milford for the recommendation......

Morning Folks!
Not posted on here for a while since moving still looking for a small but practical local workshop, very difficult during this Global C19 Crises but it doesn't stop me being creative at home and in my temporary garage set up, pics show a lil project, get some soft pine sheets, table saw them to size, stencil with a sponge using acrylic paint, drill 2 holes some soft cotton rope resulting in Customised rustic wine boxes, great for gift storage or even Wine!

Back at the workshop tonite after Xmas & New Year Festivities Sadly after building my Restorations Services over the last 18 months I've had to vacate due to administration reasons 🤔😕 So clearing out and chucking junk plus odds and sods, I've a few weeks grace before leaving so taking opportunity to finish off a few bits, this is an Antique Victorian Campaign Style folding bed, you can see the difference in the wood using Teak Oil to revive the drying wood surface 😎
Thankyou to all my clients over the time I've been at my lovely little workshop, until I've a New venue I'll be working from home near Guildford, I can only do small items such as dinning or wood framed chairs and the like for the foreseeable future so please feel free to still contact me as before via this page 😎👍

Evening Folks! 😎
Sometimes my work invloves being resourceful, a Captains chair needed fixing but was missing vital components, so an option I thought of to use an old motorcycle coil over spring to offer an alternative, if but temporary? I had to use spring clamps then the coil was carefully cut in half to give me 2 sizes to experiment with 😎👍

I quite often work late in my fab workshop, it's quiet and peaceful so I can concentrate on many of the commissions, these are part set of 8 Dining chairs which are relatively straight forward, the original vynal was pulled into place with cords and stretched over the frames, however the quality material replacement has to be hand stitched down the rear seams and front corners for very pleasing results 😎
