🚫✈️ Passenger Banned from Ryanair After Eating Nuts on Flight!
In a shocking incident, budget airline Ryanair banned a passenger from future flights after he ate nuts during a journey from Tenerife to London Stansted.
The case dates back to 2014, when Fae Platten, then four years old, suffered a life-threatening anaphylactic shock after a man sitting four rows away opened a packet of nuts.
Her mother, Katy Platten, had warned cabin crew about her daughter’s severe nut allergy, prompting staff to ask passengers not to eat nuts on board. However, one traveler ignored the warning — triggering a terrifying reaction.
Katy recalled: “For a few moments, Fae stopped breathing. Her airway closed, and she lost consciousness.”
Thankfully, an EpiPen injection revived Fae, and she was rushed to hospital upon landing, where she made a full recovery.
Since then, Ryanair has tightened its allergy protocols, ensuring that crew members make onboard announcements and may even ban future travel for passengers who violate nut restrictions.
The incident highlights the serious danger airborne nut particles pose in enclosed environments like aircraft cabins — where even the smallest exposure can threaten a person’s life.
