Tuca nace de la ilusión de ofrecer productos originales y frescos. Nuestra colección se caracteriza por sus atrevidos contrastes de materiales y colores donde el usuario deja de ser pasivo para poder interactuar con el objeto. El espectador se convierte en un explorador de objetos a través de un paralelismo con la vida animal en el trópico. El colorido del tucán, la trama de una tela de araña, la
densidad del follaje, la esencia más caótica de la selva reflejada a través de una colección de muebles. Jugando con la elasticidad de las gomas se crea una combinación sorprendente que invade los hogares con un asombroso contraste de tonalidades. Participamos en la pasada edición del N**e 2011 con nuestra Colección LIMA. Actualmente nos encontramos desarrollando nuevos proyectos que pronto verán la luz. ¡Viva el trópico! Tuca is a young design practice consisting of María Rodilla and Carla López and is the product of their shared ambition to offer original, fresh products. The collection Lima has a daringly contrasting materials and colors where the user is no longer passive and is able to interact with the object. What they have created in their space is a proposition where the spectator becomes an explorer of objects through a setting that parallels animal life in the tropics. Tuca: Welcome to the tropics. The colors of a toucan, the weave of a spider’s web, the density of the foliage, the most chaotic essence of the jungle reflected in a collection of pieces of furniture. Playing with the elasticity of rubber creates a surprising combination that permeates the home with an astounding contrast of shades of color. We are currently working in new projects.
