Veel van ons aanbod komt uit Nederland en wordt ook hier geproduceerd. Onze collectie breidt zich beetje bij een beetje uit. Dus blijf ons volgen en ontdek steeds weer iets nieuws.

🌿 Peace in the middle of Marrakech? Oh yes. 🌿

Hidden deep in the medina, this riad is pure magic — birds singing, water gently trickling, and that feeling of calm that wraps around you the moment you arrive. 🕊️

Each room is different, each one a piece of art — luxurious, warm and designed by the incredible Yann Dobry, creative director of El Fenn. His work has always been such an inspiration to me… and now I finally get to stay here! ✨

This is the first post in my new series featuring my favourite and most colourful riads in Marrakech — where design, serenity and Moroccan soul meet. Can’t wait to show you more soon! 💫

The Art of Saying No: Staying True to Your Passion 🌈💫
Last week, a lady came into my studio and asked if I could help with her holiday home. She mentioned she preferred a more natural, Ibiza-style interior, and said, “Oh, you work with a lot of colours.”
I was honest with her: “I can do that, but I have to admit, it’s not my thing. My heart and soul are in colour. That’s what makes me happy in my work.” 🎨❤️

I then connected her with a colleague who specialises in natural tones. Why? Because when I create colourful designs, I give my best version. My clients deserve my “cherry on the cake”. 🍰✨

So here’s the question: Do you prefer a designer who works with passion, or someone who does it just to bring in money? 💭🤔

/My recent treasure hunt

So hard to not buy anything at a rastro.
There aren’t many around here unfortunately, but we have found a huge one. A bit expensive though, but that is why you need to see if you really love it enough to spend your money on it.

Well I love my founds, first I wanted to buy things to sell on in my studio, but I have a little problem. I make my choices out of love at first sight. So you see, it is hard to let go! So I need to see if I will let go of them in a while. Haha for now I would like to get to know them better 🤣

Do you have that problem as well? I think I am starting to be a collector. Well here we have my finds. What do you think?

Every time I travel to Marrakech, my trip is different. I always book different riads to stay. To get inspired all the time and to get to know the city better each time, because also stay in different areas too. But what my biggest goal of my trip is, is always building on my relationships there. Because working with the people from Marrakech is quite a big challenge. I have put a lot of effort in my relationships and even if I do not buy, I pass by to chat and drink tea. Lots of tea. These moments you invest in them can lead to wonderful things.

My next visit will be in December. Can’t wait to see everyone again.

And for February I am preparing to be representing 1 of my suppliers on , an important trade fair in the Netherlands! ❤️

Dipping a room in full colour is so exciting! 💕 Did you know it’s a big trend in the UK and Netherlands right now? 🇬🇧🇳🇱 Well, maybe it sounds strange, but I don’t really do trends. 😄 I decorate with passion and taste, creating spaces that won’t bore you and keep you happy for a long time. So, I guess I’m totally in fashion, hahaha! 😆⁠

What is colour drenching? You cover the walls, ceiling, skirting board, windows, and doors in matching or complementary tones. 🎨 Some think it makes rooms smaller, but it actually does the opposite! A fully coloured small room can feel more spacious because there’s no contrast with a white ceiling.⁠

And what about using it in a larger space like a lounge or sitting room? 🌿 You’ll create an instant cosy and welcoming vibe—perfect for your living room! 🛋️✨⁠
