I made online over 100 historical maps of all continents from 1905 and 1909, initially forming two great atlases of the past. Namely they are Ernst Debes' Table Atlas (1905) and its "brother edition" done by the mapping establishment of Adlof Marx in Russia. The two atlases' contents differ; the latter shows in detail the Russian Empire (especially its European provinces), the first logically pays more attention to the German Empire. Both cartography, typography and most of the aspects of both are very close and now you have a fine chance to look in deeper and compare. It is remarkable that gazetteers of the atlases contain as much geographic names as best publications of the end of the 20th Century did, so in spite of their certain overwhelmingness both may pretend to feature cartography of the highest detail. Every plate had been scanned with 600 dpi resolution and thoroughly digitally remastered, that means that their modern copies are available in highest quality and well enlarged to fit to pretty large spaces of your home or office interior.
