A look back at our first Archive Sale.

For a brief moment, the showroom shifted from a static display into something more fluid, an evolving environment where pieces moved in and out, compositions changed daily, and the space was continuously redefined by those who walked through it. What began as a release from our archive became a study in movement, material, and interaction.

Carpets, bedrooms, outdoor pieces, artworks, and one-off designs, all brought together from different collections and moments, formed a layered interior landscape. Each visit revealed something new, as the showroom adapted in real time, shaped as much by people as by objects.

This was never intended to be a conventional sale, but rather a temporary opening a way of revisiting past selections, making space, and allowing certain pieces to find new homes. In doing so, the space itself became part of the experience, shifting between stillness and activity, between display and lived-in atmosphere.

To everyone who visited, explored, and spent time within the space, thank you for being part of this chapter!

This is only the beginning.
We’ll see you at the next drop.
And soon, in a new showroom.

15/03/2026

For the past days, the showroom has taken on a different rhythm.
Pieces moving in and out, spaces shifting, conversations happening around objects released from our archive, past collections, and stored selections gathered over the years.

The Archive Sale was never intended as a conventional sale, but as a temporary opening of our storage,
a chance to revisit previous collections, release rare pieces, and make room for what is coming next.

From carpets and bedrooms to antiques, artworks, and one-off furniture, the showroom became a layered composition of past and present, constantly changing with every visit.

We are now approaching the final days before the archive closes on March 18.

What remains on the floor today may not be here tomorrow.

Viewing hours:
Pre-iftar: 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Post-iftar: 8:30 PM – 10:30 PM (by appointment only)

We would be glad to welcome you at our Abu Rawash showroom, come experience the archive while this moment is still here.

Waiting for you!

In this indoor pool, every detail is a design lesson. Ottoman Suzani motifs were studied, abstracted, and reinterpreted into a custom wooden screen that softly divides the pool from the wellness area, an example of how historical patterns can serve contemporary spatial needs.

Custom glass tiles complete the palette, proving that material choice and tonal restraint are essential tools in creating environments of tranquility and restoration.

Design begins with understanding material.
Here, the terraces showcase how thoughtful selections can transform an outdoor space into a timeless experience.
The polished slate flooring is a lesson in durability and elegance, natural stone that thrives outdoors while aging beautifully with time.

Above it, a hand-made, hand-painted Moroccan ceiling demonstrates how craftsmanship can bring depth, history, and soul into architecture.

Every element plays its part:
Chandeliers by , marble floors by , and handrails by , each contributing to a narrative of refined materials and intentional design.

This Family Living and Dining Area reflects the artistry and technical capacity of ARCO, where sculpted wood, natural leather, and bronze come together in quiet harmony.

The floors and walls, upholstered in natural leather by Adleman, introduce warmth and softness, while a hand-cast bronze staircase, custom made for the client, anchors the space with strength and elegance. The woodwork, finished in a glossy contemporary sheen, bridges classical detail with modern refinement.

Furniture by Promemoria complements the space’s informal nature, offering comfort without compromising sophistication. Every element was designed to bring a sense of ease and lived-in luxury, where craftsmanship meets contemporary living.

The Main Dining Room celebrates craftsmanship and cultural narrative through detail and material. At its heart, a pair of late 19th-century custom-made green chandeliers anchor the room with color and history, setting the tone for the layers that unfold below.

The solid wood paneling, handcrafted in Egypt by , features Turkish floral motifs intricately carved to evoke the artistry of Ottoman design. In one corner, two exceptional Sèvres vases, commissioned by an Egyptian aristocrat in the early 20th century, depict romantic Ottoman scenes and stand beside part of the lady of the house’s opaline glass collection, carefully assembled over time.

The interplay of warm wood, antique green glass, and soft golden light gives the room its inviting depth — a harmony of material and emotion that defines the spirit of this home. Together, these elements transform the dining space into a living dialogue between eras, craftsmanship, and the refined art of collecting.

A dialogue between craftsmanship and culture.

This intimate informal living area was designed for the lady of the house and her guests, a cozy corner that embodies comfort and refinement. Here, Indian and Ottoman influences meet through detail and form, creating a space that feels both personal and timeless.

An ornate screen from India pays homage to the Silk Road’s spirit of exchange, while hand-carved columns and a stilted arch, rooted in Islamic architectural tradition, frame the room with harmony and grace.

The trellis woodwork, crafted by and backed with antique mirror, reflects soft light and movement throughout the space. Antique pieces including a Mastaba from Syria and Opaline glassware add layers of history and storytelling.

A Lesson in Understated Beauty
Le Petit Salon is a study in how refined design speaks softly yet powerfully through detail. Every element within the space demonstrates how materiality, craftsmanship, and history can shape an atmosphere.

Mainly inspired by Venetian design, the room celebrates the art of layered luxury, where elegance emerges through patina, proportion, and the dialogue between old and new.

The walls are wrapped in leather wallpaper by Zuber, a French manufacturer renowned since the 18th century for its artisanal, hand-printed wall coverings, a testament to timeless craft and tactile richness. The curtains edged with leather trims illustrate how texture contrast can elevate soft furnishings with architectural precision.

Anchoring the space, antique Venetian cabinetry introduces depth, artistry, and a tangible sense of continuity between past and present, grounding the salon with the quiet grandeur typical of Venetian interiors.

Le Petit Salon becomes more than a room; it stands as a living example of how thoughtful design choices tell a story of heritage, craftsmanship, and refinement.

A space where balance and beauty meet, The Grand Salon is a celebration of composed grandeur and timeless design.

Every detail has been thoughtfully curated to create an atmosphere of warmth, sophistication, and cultural harmony. Anchored by a striking custom hand-carved wooden ceiling and complemented by exquisite I Vassalletti flooring, the space exudes craftsmanship, texture, and character.

The design embraces a rich dialogue between the contemporary and the classical, where modern icons like the Campana Brothers’ golden statement chair, a sculptural piece that radiates both whimsy and opulence — sit harmoniously alongside carefully selected antiques, creating an engaging interplay between eras and aesthetics.

A bronze table by Robert Kuo stands as a sculptural centerpiece, its patina and form beautifully balanced against an antique Chinese paravent, symbolizing the dialogue between new and old, East and West. Every element, from the mix of woods, metals, and stone to the hand-carved doors inspired by natural foliage motifs contributes to an environment that is both timeless and forward-thinking.

The Grand Salon stands as a testament to artistry and precision, where every texture, tone, and material reflects the pursuit of harmony, between heritage and innovation, restraint and richness, modern sensibilities and timeless elegance.

The entrance of the Silk Road Project exemplifies the architectural principle of balance, where materials, craftsmanship, art, and lighting harmonize to create an atmosphere of both grandeur and warmth.
Limestone walls, chosen for their durability and timeless appeal, establish a natural, grounding presence. The custom-designed SICIS flooring introduces visual rhythm and spatial continuity, guiding movement through the space. Hand-carved woodwork, meticulously crafted in Egypt by , showcases traditional artisanal techniques—an homage to cultural heritage and fine craftsmanship.
Above, luminous Barovier & Toso chandeliers, renowned for their Venetian glass artistry, diffuse light in a way that enhances texture and depth, elevating the entire composition.
Art plays a defining role in the narrative: a sculpture by Khaled Zaki anchors the space with sculptural grace, a blue-toned painting by Alekos Fassianos adds poetic vibrancy, and works by Iraqi-American artist Hayv Kahraman depicting women introduce a layer of emotional depth and cultural reflection.
Together, these elements transform the entrance into more than a passage. It becomes a narrative of design, materiality, and cultural dialogue.
