Mogens and Flemming Lassen left a lasting mark on Danish design by combining traditional Danish values with international modernism. Their designs emphasised functionality and the person’s needs, rather than ideology. They valued craftsmanship and drew inspiration from modern art and international trends. Using all of their senses, they aimed to create furniture that evoked a good feeling. Mogens Lassen developed an almost mathematical formula for achieving this feeling in his designs.
