This is a Davids Lampe. Danish, 1960s. Cubic, minimal, quietly perfect.

It came to us with tired wiring and no cord worth keeping. We took it apart completely — and put it back together the way it deserved.
New textile cord. Rewired by hand. Nothing else touched.

Found it. Recognised it immediately. 🤩
Royal Copenhagen porcelain designed by Ellen Malmer, mid-century Danish. The botanical motif — seeds, pods, something almost wild — painted by hand before this lamp ever saw a living room.
We rewired it. Made a new lamp shade that lets the base speak.
That’s it. Nothing changed.
Just a very good object, back where it belongs.

😎Someone left this by the bin. We couldn’t walk past.

A cardboard box. Left on the street. We almost didn’t stop.
Then we looked inside. 🤩
First — a complete Lovomose ceramic set. Intact. Every piece.
Then — an Ernst Faxe vase with that deep red glaze that stops you mid-breath.
And at the bottom — a Lehmann vase. Quiet, considered, unmistakable.
Three names. One box. Left behind by someone who didn’t know what they had.
This is what curation looks like before it reaches your home. The eye that stops. The hand that reaches in. The decision that this does not belong in the bin.
