Distance—or time? 🚗🛣️ European road charges don’t all work the same way.
A distance-based toll is calculated according to the distance travelled or road section used. A time-based vignette gives your vehicle access to a defined road network for a set period.
Some countries use both systems, so your vignette may not cover certain tunnels, bridges or specially tolled routes.
