Vysněné židle TON 515 do jídelny se konečně staly realitou. A dokonce k nim našel cestu i dobový rozkládací stůl se stejnými dynamickými tvary. Vše vyrobeno v UP Rousínov, vše renovováno Na ponku a dokonale ladí s manšestrovými proužky Cord 009 od značky Stesa. 🪑

🇨🇿 Trochu vybledlá, trochu poškrábaná a pár částí, které nedržely jako dřív. Jsme rádi, že se majitelka rozhodla obnovit nejen funkčnost a barvu, ale i povrchovou úpravu v lesku, který k nábytku z 50. let prostě patří. 🤩

🇨🇿 Křeslo Tatra, které si rodina předává z generace na generaci, přetřel kdysi děda na hnědo a vycpal pořádnými molitany. Současná generace se však chtěla vrátit k původnímu řešení a odstranit hnědé krycí nátěry, což křeslu vrátilo šmrnc a původní proporce. Lehkost celého kousku pak dotváří citlivě vybraná látka od S&V. 🥰
🇬🇧 The Tatra armchair, which the family has passed down from generation to generation, was once repainted brown by the grandfather and filled with thick foam padding. However, the current generation wanted to return to the original solution and remove the brown covering coats, which restored the armchair’s charm and its original proportions. The lightness of the whole piece is then complemented by a carefully selected fabric from S&V. 🥰
🇩🇪 Der Tatra-Sessel, den die Familie von Generation zu Generation weitergibt, wurde einst vom Großvater braun überstrichen und mit kräftigem Schaumstoff neu gepolstert. Die heutige Generation wollte jedoch zur ursprünglichen Lösung zurückkehren und die braunen Deckanstriche entfernen, wodurch der Sessel seinen Charme und seine ursprünglichen Proportionen zurückerhielt. 🇨🇿 Křesla od Jaroslava Šmídka jsou lehká, nenucená a hodí se skoro kamkoli. Navíc vypadají dobře v jakékoliv látce, takže nemusíte vybírat dlouho. Tentokrát klientce padla do oka krémová látka Aranka od české firmy Kolovrat. Právě v tomto odstínu ladí s krémovými kroužky zakrývající vruty a područkami v dubovém odstínu ošetřené tvrdým voskovým olejem.
🇬🇧 Chairs by Jaroslav Šmídek are light, effortless, and fit almost anywhere. Plus, they look great in any fabric, so you don’t have to spend ages deciding. This time, the client fell for the creamy Aranka fabric from the Czech brand Kolovrat. In this shade, it perfectly matches the cream-colored screw-cover rings and the oak-toned armrests, treated with hard wax oil for a smooth finish.
🇩🇪 Die Stühle von Jaroslav Šmídek sind leicht, ungezwungen und passen fast überall hin. Außerdem sehen sie in jedem Stoff toll aus, sodass die Wahl nicht lange dauern muss.
Dieses Mal fiel der Kundin der cremige Stoff Aranka der tschechischen Marke Kolovrat ins Auge. In diesem Farbton passt er perfekt zu den cremefarbenen Schraubenabdeckringen und den eichenfarbenen Armlehnen, die mit Hartwachsöl für eine glatte Oberfläche behandelt wurden.

🇨🇿🇬🇧🇩🇪 Tátův zničený stůl, který se k nám skoro nedostal. ✨ 👇
🇨🇿 Kulatý jídelní stůl byl tátův oblíbený… a děti mu ho trochu „pomohly“ zničit. Zůstalo na něm něco, co se nemělo rádo s ořechovou dýhou. 😅Největší výzva? Dostat ho do dílny. Po schodech, a pak přes dveře… konstrukce širší, než se zdálo. Po několika manévrech - stůl je na milimetr uvnitř! 🙌 A pak přišla opravdová magie - doplňování, podlepování, leštění šelakové politury. ✨A nakonec zpět přes dveře a schody… 🚪🛻Nyní už jen doufat, že táta nic nepozná 😏
🇬🇧 The round dining table was Dad’s favorite… and the kids “helped” a little in breaking it. Something had stayed on it that clearly didn’t get along with the walnut veneer 😅 The biggest challenge? Getting it into the workshop. Up the stairs, through the door… the frame was wider than it looked. After a few maneuvers – the table was inside by a millimeter! 🙌Then came the real magic: repairing the veneer, patching, reinforcing, and polishing the shellac finish ✨ And finally, back out through the door and down the stairs… 🚪🛻Now we just have to hope Dad doesn’t notice 😏
🇩🇪 Der runde Esstisch war Papas Lieblingsstück… und die Kinder haben ihm ein bisschen „geholfen“, ihn kaputtzumachen. Es lag etwas darauf, das sich eindeutig nicht mit dem Nussfurnier vertrug 😅Die größte Herausforderung? Den Tisch in die Werkstatt bekommen. Die Treppe hoch, durch die Tür… der Rahmen war breiter, als er aussah. Nach ein paar Manövern – der Tisch war auf den Millimeter genau drin! 🙌 Dann kam die echte Magie: Furnier retten, ausbessern, verstärken und die Schellackpolitur aufpolieren ✨Und schließlich zurück durch die Tür und die Treppe runter… 🚪🛻Jetzt bleibt nur zu hoffen, dass Papa nichts merkt 😏

🇨🇿 Když něco někam patří, tak to tam musí zůstat. 🪞✨
Věšáková stěna, která byla odjakživa součástí chodby. Jen ty háčky majitelce nesedly 😌. Na dílně jsme ale našli ty pravé – s kuličkami 💫
Shodou okolností to byly háčky z našeho věšáku na kabáty, který kdysi skončili jako vyhozený kus.
Po výměně přišla renovace:
- broušení a tmelení
- minerální barva Fusion Raw silk
- kuličky a ornament odlišené odstínem Rose water
- nové zrcadlo s fazetou🪑🤍
Teď? Věšák souzní s duší bytu… a srdcem majitelky. ✨

This coat rack wall has been part of the hallway forever. But the hooks… the owner didn’t like them 😌 On our workbench, we found the perfect ones – with little balls 💫By chance, they were hooks from one of our coat racks that had once ended up as a discarded piece.
After swapping them, the renovation began:
– sanding and filling
– Fusion Raw Silk mineral paint
– hooks and ornaments highlighted in Rose Water
– new beveled mirror 🪑🤍
Now?
The rack fits the soul of the home… and the heart of its owner. ✨

Diese Garderobenwand war schon immer Teil des Flurs. Nur die Haken… die gefielen der Besitzerin nicht 😌 In unserer Werkstatt fanden wir die perfekten – mit Kugeln 💫Zufällig stammten sie von einem unserer Garderobenständer, der einst als weggeworfenes Stück endete.
Nach dem Tausch begann die Renovierung:
– Schleifen und Spachteln

– Haken und Ornamente hervorgehoben in Rose Water
– neuer Spiegel mit Facettenschliff 🪑🤍
Und jetzt?
Die Garderobe passt zur Seele des Hauses… und zum Herzen der Besitzerin. ✨

🇨🇿 Skandinávský styl je svou dynamikou a jednoduchostí nesmrtelný. Dobrá zpráva pro všechny, kteří mají podobný nábytek doma a nechtějí se ho vzdát. Stačí jen obnovit povrchy, vyměnit čalounění, třeba sametovou látkou Alvar od Clarke&Clarke a rodinné kousky z předchozích dekád si můžete užívat i nadále. 🏠
🇬🇧 Scandinavian style is timeless, thanks to its dynamism and simplicity. Good news for anyone who has similar furniture at home and doesn’t want to part with it: just refresh the surfaces, replace the upholstery, and you can continue enjoying your family pieces from past decades. 🏠
