Project Overview: Located within a Grade A office tower housing premium commercial space and a five-star hotel, our design meticulously attends to every detail to craft a distinctive and comfortable guest experience.

Hotel Lobby: Distinctive in character, the fusion of antique bronze metal and stone lends an air of sophistication. The subdued palette intensifies visual impact, imbuing the space with an aura of mystery.

Executive Lounge: Warm lighting harmonises with timber panelling, while an arrayed backdrop establishes spatial order whilst cultivating an atmosphere of rustic sensibility.

Landscape Deluxe King Room: Integrating stone, timber, leather and woven fabrics with comfortable furnishings, every detail instils a profound sense of tranquil harmony and belonging

Landscape Superior Twin Room: Featuring a vertical twin-bed layout with a wood-veneered partition, this design effectively screens living privacy. It offers a cosy warmth and leisurely ease, thoughtfully crafted for undisturbed comfort and a shared experience of harmonious togetherness.

In high-end hotel design, "luxury" is no longer synonymous with ornate embellishments. Instead, it emerges from a meticulous orchestration of material textures, layered lighting, and human-centric details, crafting an elegant yet restrained spatial ethos. Centered on the concept of "understated opulence," this样板房 design harmoniously blends functional aesthetics with sensory experiences, creating an unforgettable living narrative.

[Entryway: A Duet of Functionality and Ceremonial Grandeur]
Upon entering, a custom white oak veneer cabinet with a high-gloss lacquer finish commands attention with its sculptural presence. The designers employed 45°斜-cut integrated handles, transforming the act of opening cabinet doors into a tactile dialogue between fingertips and woodgrain—eliminating the visual intrusion of traditional handles while enhancing fluidity through angled light refraction.

The recessed sensor-activated LED strip lighting within the shelving system elevates practicality to artistry: as guests approach, warm illumination breathes to life, not only guiding garment retrieval but also casting glassware and leather luggage in a curated, boutique-window glow. This "invisible service" philosophy epitomizes modern luxury hospitality, where every interaction is designed to amplify ceremonial sophistication.

[Minibar: A Poetic Dialogue Between Stone and Geometry]
The natural marble countertop at the minibar area showcases masterful material selection—its cool gray canvas streaked with white veins evokes an ink-wash painting, contrasting dramatically with the warmth of white oak. Vertical slatted cabinet doors ingeniously dissolve spatial constraints: their rhythmic apertures frame a tantalizing peek at crystal decanters, while casting ever-shifting linear shadows that dance across walls like sundials of ambiance.

A split-level ergonomic design ensures seamless functionality: the 60cm-high workspace aligns with optimal standing posture, while the 35cm-deep pull-out drawer beneath discreetly houses a wine chiller. Every dimension whispers precision engineering.

[Sleeping Zone: A Symphony of Tactile and Visual Serenity]
Reimagining traditional upholstered headboards, the bedback features diamond-quilted leather panels accented with 3mm champagne-gold stainless steel inlays. Crafted from imported espresso-toned calfskin, the textured surface radiates artisanal warmth, while the metallic strips refract light into jewel-like facets under focused downlighting. The white oak feature wall continues the narrative through asymmetric joint detailing, subtly directing attention toward the meticulously layered bedding ensemble.

Marriott hotel
As the flagship brand of Marriott Bonvoy®, one of the 31 outstanding hotel brands in Qingdao, Qingdao Marriott Hotel Jiaozhou will be associated with the historical and cultural town of Jiaozhou with the quality and sincerity that are deeply rooted in the city's culture.
Located in Dagu River Resort, Qingdao's “New City Living Room”, the hotel is surrounded by shallow lakes and wetlands, typical of northern coastal areas. With its vast waters and gentle view, the hotel offers a charming lake view with water and sky, and enjoys the quietness and beauty of living surrounded by nature.
Named after the sea
The sail-shaped exterior of the hotel building and the outdoor layout of the water flow texture are delicately and meticulously integrated into the natural environment of the location, which is close to the sea and the water. In the interior, the design is based on the reconstruction of local elements such as Jiaozhou marine culture and the history of black pottery, which are integrated into the design expression of the Marriott Hotel's modern concept.
The hotel lobby, with the theme of “Sailing”, combined with the grand scale art installation of sails, in the wind and light, as if the sails are fluttering in layers, presenting the marine impression of Jiaozhou in the space through the translation of art.
A variety of materials are layered with established geometric aesthetics to form a comfortable and restrained wall decoration, and light-colored wood floor wall panels, enclosing a luxurious and gentle rest space.

Opened in 2024 as Hilton’s 600th global property, the Hilton Nanjing Niushou Mountain merges minimalist design with Niutou Zen philosophy (“mindfulness, emptiness, joy”), crafting a sanctuary where spirituality meets modern luxury. Designed by YANG, the hotel reinterprets Buddhist heritage through contemporary architecture and immersive spatial storytelling.

Architectural Dialogue with Nature

Situated at Niushou Mountain’s foothills, the hotel harmonizes with its sacred surroundings. A reflective pool and Bodhi leaf motif at the entrance set a tranquil tone. The 3,220㎡ lobby, with a 10-meter ceiling, balances grandeur with Zen simplicity: suspended “monastic robe” ceilings, moss-covered stone installations, and mirrored columns soften structural rigidity. Traditional elements—Jinling folding fan art, scripture-carved stones—coexist with modernist lines, bridging past and present.

Fluid Spaces, Timeless Serenity

Blurring indoor-outdoor boundaries, floor-to-ceiling glass in the all-day dining venue (1,000㎡+) frames mountain vistas, while raw textures (stone walls, timber grilles) echo nature. The vegetarian restaurant embraces rustic elegance with rattan sculptures and private dining “boxes” nestled in greenery. The Chinese restaurant combines symmetry and Jiangnan opulence: moon-white screens, antique displays, and domed ceilings inspired by Foding Palace.
