For large furniture pieces, we recommend the installation of a subframe. The purpose of the subframe is to stop the live edge wood from twisting and warping over time. Without a subframe, this custom-built 11-foot dining table would lose its shape gradually over the years and we definitely don't want anyone's dinner rolling of the table!!
