Some folk have talent but when it comes to juggling, I am not a self proclaimed circus act (even if my life may feel like it is at times).
I take occupancy of my new booth at the St. Jacobs Antique Market as of tomorrow but she needs a little ‘tlc’ before I set up. I’m not rushing, I’m going to enjoy this process, but the booth will be ready to go for Friday just in time for day-tripping this last holiday long weekend of the summer.
Looking forward to this new adventure!!

It was 30ish years ago that my Mom and my Aunts had a booth for a time at the St. Jacobs Antiques Market. Roughly at the same time while I was living in Brooklyn, NY my own collecting bug took hold. Fast forward with a dream and a ‘few’ storage units full of goodies I score a booth here! Must be in the blood. There’s something about the hunt, the find, and the love of nostalgic pieces that are appreciated or coveted.
I am extremely happy to announce that Sept 1 will be my booth 🎉Grand opening🎉

This is why I love this region! We are creative AF!
The Princess Cinemas, a renowned local independently owned and operated cinema here in uptown Waterloo got creative. In the effort to generate revenue during the duration of Covid-19 lockdowns they began to rent out their marquee sign to anyone who had something to say, to encourage, or direct attention to other small businesses. I wanted to support local so, I jumped on board. Pun intended!
Stay at home orders were lifted today with life coming back into the streets with chatter and laughter. My name is in lights...
