Fall days have finally come and yesterday seemed Iike the perfect day to make an Apple Bundt Cake and enjoy the last of the flowers from my gardens! The hydrangeas have such a beautiful colour going on right now. Hard to believe they started out pink! Love the changing of the seasons but still not so sure I’m ready fir what will follow…🍁🧡🍂

Sharing a little bit of vintage Christmas from our home. I love an old fashioned nostalgic Christmas that reminds me of Christmases past. Wishing you all a beautiful Christmas! I know there are those who are facing grief or a difficult diagnosis or challenging circumstances this Christmas season and many prayers have gone up on your behalf. If you’re a parent or grandparent still looking for some Christmas ideas I have couple art smocks I’ve made out of some material I had on hand. Fits 3-6 year olds. Depending on their size you may need to roll up the sleeves but that will give them a few years to enjoy! Grandparents may even want to purchase one for your own place to avoid the grand clothes getting dirty when you get into some of the messy projects. :)

My hydrangeas finally made it inside! I’m loving all the gorgeous shades that this autumn brought. It’s a mix of limelight and Annabelle hydrangeas & one more I can’t remember…such an easy way to bring autumn decor into your home. Do you bring your hydrangeas in? 🍁🍂

I loved the heart shaped topiary that Pam did recently and decided to give it a try. I’m so happy with how it turned out! The first attempt was a fail as I knew immediately I’d put it in the wrong vessel and then all of a sudden I remembered I had this beautiful metal pedestal urn that would suit it perfectly! It was exactly what I was looking for and looks great in the dining room. What do you think? Would you try this? Swipe to the end to see my inspiration!

Once again I am delighted and honoured to have highlight one of my projects! This was definitely one my favourites to do and it turned out so well. So many items out there can be recycled and given a brand new or vintage look (depending on your preference 🙂 If you have a creative bent or are an avid DIYer then their gorgeous stencils, transfers & moulds are a must! You don’t know what you are missing!

Laundry Room Reveal…while I meant to share this space quite awhile ago that didn’t quite happen. The refresh was long overdue but I’m so happy with the end result. I added a few FB Marketplace items…namely the armoire, shelves, paintings etc. You can create a new look to your space by just painting! I also painted the cupboards which I now absolutely love! Wasn’t loving the store bought white melamine look. Just one of a few things I did to give a facelift to this space. I’ll share a few more things I did in a future post or reel. Certainly makes laundry a more enjoyable task in my updated space.

This is one of the best thrifted items I’ve ever purchased! We replaced our 40+ year old deck this past spring and I really wanted to have a Christmas tree out back for the winter but didn’t want to put the money into a real tree so thought I’d see what I could find thrifting! I had looked at Value Village the week before with no luck! The following week I donated some items and got a 20% off coupon so popped in to take a look. Imagine my surprise when I saw this tree with the gorgeous urn to go with it! And not only that it had a timer and a remote with it so I don’t even have to step out the door to turn it on and off. The best thing was that I only paid $32 for it all and will have it now for years to come! That’s a win, win in my books! And she looks so pretty lit up at night! 🎄❤️
