Designed by Børge Mogensen in 1956, the Mogensen Bench extends the language of his iconic chair into two versatile forms, available with or without a back.

Inspired by Shaker furniture, this design is direct, sturdy, and beautifully resolved. The backless bench slips easily beneath a table or into an entryway, while the backed version offers added support for longer, more relaxed seating.

Nearly 70 years later, both remain practical, adaptable, and unmistakably Mogensen.

Some of the best designs begin by solving a simple problem.

Designed by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby for Flos, the Bellhop was originally created for the restaurant at London's Design Museum. The brief was to develop a portable light that could move effortlessly from table to table while creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Its compact silhouette, soft glow, and cordless design have since made the Bellhop a contemporary icon.

The Chair That Changed Comfort

When Eero Saarinen designed the Womb Chair in 1948, his brief was surprisingly simple: create a chair that felt like "a basket full of pillows." The result became one of the most celebrated lounge chairs of the modern era. Its generous proportions and enveloping comfort challenged the rigid seating designs common at the time, proving that modern furniture could be both innovative and inviting.

More than 75 years later, the Womb Chair remains a favourite for reading corners, living rooms, and hospitality spaces alike.
