I just finished installing an amazing fireplace surround display at Capital Iron. I’m really excited on how it turned out, it’s made of precast concrete and had to be cut and fabricated on site for the fireplace they provided.

Well it’s been a long go at Estevan St in Oak Bay where we have finally finished all the projects concrete.
I helped pour the footings a year ago…

Client was invisioning this design and I brought it to life.

Thanks for help on all the pours from Parsons Projects.

Huge Thanks to Independent Concrete LTD. as well.

We still have a long list of various things including the fence to finalize this project over the next few weeks.

Helping a good friends company out on a deck build on this brisk day in late Feb. This is only part of it, we still need to step down to a lower area.

I have a few of my own jobs on the go right now as well but the weather has put the concrete pours on hold.

Formed and Poured this exposed aggregate walkway and stair job recently. It also had a round pad for a fountain and some walls to hold the mountain back for a shed area.
It was all quite fun to make the forms come to life with what the homeowner was in-visioning.
I can’t wait to remove the forms and see the stairs overhang design.

Happy New Year Everyone! I still pour concrete, just not as often but if you know anyone looking for small jobs from forming to finishing, let me know.

Today was a busy day forming this set of stairs for Parsons Projects to pour.
The company running the Job pre cut the stringers and the risers but I still had to rip/cut 1/4 inch off the treads to make sure they had slope.😉

They are going to finish tieing the rebar as well if anyone is going to question why there is no rebar…

Been working off and on as jobs come about for another project with Unity Developments.

Just poured the garage slab last week. 2 Separate pours as they want a tile walkway with a heated floor between there interior and exterior doors.

I have also helped with
- pouring the footings
- dampproofing (blueskin Exterior ICF walls)
- install dimple board
- grade/ poly/ mesh, and pour basement slab
- backfilling exterior areas
- form and pour basement stairs and window wells
- installing windows
- various backframing

Preparing the driveway for the last House of 4 on King Gorge Terrace in Oak Bay.

I’ve formed/ poured 3 out of 4 of them with Parsons Projects.
I’m glad I was asked to get the last one ready for Parsons Projects to do what they do best and lay down the concrete Finishing on this Mansion💪

Not done yet and I’m really just trying to find time to squeeze this one in so I’ll keep you posted on the final layout👊

Started Demo on a office/ shop renovation Im Supervising.

Removed a wall to create space for few new offices. Added a couple new doorway openings and a window opening in the main office.

Start framing next week after a new epoxy coat on the floor in the shop💪

Installing bathroom accessories and hanging all the freshly painted interior doors for this project in Oak
Bay.

Im about to install some hardy shingles on this chimney and a couple more Gable ends. Here is whats been done so far.
The project is close to being done for the homeowners.

I have done a lot of the trim work on this project as well. I will create a post with some pics of that soon.
( Waiting for some stucco work to be completed 🤞)
