Some of the most important work we do happens long before furniture reaches someone’s home.

It’s coordinating collections, finding space to safely store furniture, planning delivery routes, and making sure each piece reaches a household that can put it to good use.

These everyday efforts are what make furniture redistribution possible, and having consistent community support helps us plan ahead, reach more households, and continue growing our impact across Metro Vancouver.

Getting the keys to a new home is a major milestone. But it doesn’t mean every part of that home is ready to live in.

Between rent, deposits, groceries and other expenses, furnishing a space can quickly become something people have to put off.

It’s an important part of the housing conversation that often gets overlooked. Having a place to live matters, and so does having the everyday essentials that make that space functional and comfortable.
