A great conversation with MP Jake Sawatzky about Furnish Forward’s impact, the challenges we face as a growing nonprofit, and the opportunities ahead.

We discussed the growing need for furniture support across Metro Vancouver, as well as the importance of stronger partnerships, sustainable funding, reliable transportation, labour, and warehouse space to help organizations like ours expand their reach.

These are the conversations that help turn community needs into meaningful action. By working together, we can keep more usable furniture out of landfills, strengthen the circular economy, and support more families in building safe, comfortable homes.
