Newcomers undergo various degrees of emotional strain during the adjustment process. As well, adapting to a new culture or emotional situation is difficult and most feel anxious, discouraged, confused and lonely. We are a Social and Recreation group who promotes friendships and encouragement to newly arrived live-in caregivers/nannies in Vancouver and their friends. Vancouver Area Nannies ~ Caregivers is a support system for nannies - caregivers who have been placed in Vancouver; as well as other interested nannies - caregivers in Vancouver and surrounding areas.
