NEW BLOG POST - The Power Of A Great Contact Form

While it may seem like a mundane and kind of generic part of a website, a contact form is also a very effective tool in qualifying real leads for your business. So here’s how you can make sure your contact form is working properly for you.

Your website isn’t a one-and-done project.
It’s a living part of your business — and it needs regular check-ins to stay aligned with where you are now.

Here’s why auditing your site matters:
✔ You’ve grown (your messaging probably hasn’t)
✔ Visual trends and tech evolve constantly
✔ Your website works 24/7 — even when you’re offline
✔ You’re too close to it to see what’s not working anymore

Even small tweaks — a new headline, simplified navigation, updated CTAs — can make a big difference in how your site performs.

Mobile Optimization for Web Domination.
Does is matter if my website isn't optimized for mobile you ask? YES. Yes, it matters a lot.

We all live on our phones.
When most of us think of something they want or want to know, they immediately reach for their phone to Google it. Or find it on social media. If they click on a site site doesn’t work properly to show the result they expect, and the content is all jumbled and out of order, they will move on to the next result without thinking twice.

You only get one chance with most site visitors. If your site doesn’t work, that visitor is gone. Probably forever.

UX is different on mobile.
The way users interact with your content is distinctly different on mobile than it is on desktop. Things that work well on a desktop, don’t make any sense at all on mobile simply because of spacing, size, and the way we physically interact with a computer versus a phone.

Your site visitors need to be able to access the exact same content with the same ease of use on all devices to make your website truly useful for everyone.

It boosts your site's SEO.
Google favours mobile-optimized sites, giving them a higher ranking on the search results page. Unless they are looking for something really specific, most people will never look past the first page of search results. Getting ranked high and getting onto the first page of results is a major win for any website.

Even the best websites will collect digital dust and float in general internet obscurity if no one can find it.

A lot of web design has taken on a more subtle vibe in the last few years with neutrals and handwritten fonts everywhere. Some of it looks amazing but I'm looking forward to something a lot more bold this year.

2024 is the year of the dragon so let's bring some fire. I want to see more texture on things to warm them up and skip the sterility that can easily creep in with digital formats.

As a designer, it's in my DNA to love minimalism, but that doesn't mean it should be boring. And bring the PERSONALITY. Going back to humanizing digital spaces, authenticity in brands is what makes them relatable.

What design trends are you looking forward to in 2024?

According to research done by LinkedIn, consumers make significant judgments about a company based on their website. They found that 75% of people looking at a website will base their entire opinion of a company’s credibility based on their experience of the website.

When a website looks great and is super easy to navigate, users assume that that company must be good. And why wouldn’t they? If they’ve clearly put effort into creating a great website, they must really care about what they do, understand their business, and offer great products and services.

BUT, if the website looks unprofessional, poorly designed, or confusing, it's only natural to assume that maybe the business is too. Which doesn’t make anyone want to spend their money. This impression could be completely wrong, but you aren’t really there to tell visitors why your business is great. The website HAS to speak for you.

What does your website tell visitors about your business?

Here's a quick checklist to see if your website is working as well as it could be.

If your website doesn't have a clear message, doesn't visually engage your audience, and doesn't have a clear flow or information, it might be time to upgrade your website!
