Mobile Optimization for Web Domination.
Does is matter if my website isn't optimized for mobile you ask? YES. Yes, it matters a lot.
We all live on our phones.
When most of us think of something they want or want to know, they immediately reach for their phone to Google it. Or find it on social media. If they click on a site site doesn’t work properly to show the result they expect, and the content is all jumbled and out of order, they will move on to the next result without thinking twice.
You only get one chance with most site visitors. If your site doesn’t work, that visitor is gone. Probably forever.
UX is different on mobile.
The way users interact with your content is distinctly different on mobile than it is on desktop. Things that work well on a desktop, don’t make any sense at all on mobile simply because of spacing, size, and the way we physically interact with a computer versus a phone.
Your site visitors need to be able to access the exact same content with the same ease of use on all devices to make your website truly useful for everyone.
It boosts your site's SEO.
Google favours mobile-optimized sites, giving them a higher ranking on the search results page. Unless they are looking for something really specific, most people will never look past the first page of search results. Getting ranked high and getting onto the first page of results is a major win for any website.
Even the best websites will collect digital dust and float in general internet obscurity if no one can find it.
