This sofa was needing a makeover asap before a big move to La Gaspé area! 🙌👍🤩👏
In no time at all, this beautiful faux wool material from Avant-Garde Fabrics, pattern: Tiffany, colour: 086 was ordered and off we went!
Same style but different colour and the clients love the new look! It’s all packed up and ready to be picked up!

This chair has a story to tell! ♥️ Many layers to discover (counting 4 fabrics), the wood frame displaying the past craftsmen’s namesakes and year of their work….taking the time to make their mark!
How old is this chair??? Well, the first upholsterer’s name is A.H. Nugent dated from October 14, 1919.
The second upholsterer, John Donaldson, April 1957, Bastin Draperies, 33 Union Street.

Now, after a 4th time of change, we continue the tradition as we signed off our work!
The clients were thrilled to hear about the discoveries. Curious, if it was a family heirloom; it turns out it was an exchange done between sisters and it was previously purchased from an antique dealer.
