wildflowers bloom anywhere their seeds are planted. they don’t need anyone to help them flourish and can grow under any circumstances, favourable or not. my oldest daughter is my own little bundle of wildflowers. her spirit is free, ferocious and she blossoms everywhere she goes. she doesn’t need anyone to tell her how much water or sun she needs and would rather sway freely in any direction the wind takes her. though i could never quite encapsulate her spirit in a physical sense, this simple shirt represents just a tiny bit of who she is, something she should always be proud of.

sewing a rope basket took way longer than i anticipated and a lot of mistakes were made. it turned out slightly wonky, misshapen and i actually wanted to make it higher, but ran out of rope. despite all of its many flaws, it’ll sit in my wildflowers room to hold all of her beloved possessions and that’s what makes it so lovely.
