We cannot wait for when Millennium trail is back to bursting in greenery like it is here. Did you know the trail is just 400 metres from The Dainty and spans the whole County?

The Millennium Trail is a 46-km multi-use trail perfect for hiking, biking, snowshoeing, or even horseback riding. Stretching from Carrying Place to Picton, backing onto farmers’ fields and vineyards, it’s a great way to experience the tranquility of the County.

Looking for a little last minute winter getaway? The Dainty is feeling extra cozy with this layer of snow and is free for the booking this weekend! Check out the bnb link in our bio to snag yourself a lovely winter weekend in the County.

🌸🌻 One of our favourite activities this past summer/fall was picking flowers from our meadow to sprinkle about the Dainty in vases to welcome our guests. Can't wait for the meadow to be blooming again next year.

We're putting the patio furniture away for the snowy season but cannnnnot wait to break it back out again. Big thank you to .ecoscapes for helping us create this little backyard oasis of ours for our guests. 🌾 When you stay at the dainty you get the full backyard and bespoke 😉 deck all to yourselves (built by our very own in house contractor ). Only the best for the dainty guests haha!

A little 📣 PSA 📣 for our guests joining us this weekend there is an exciting Christmas Market going on at the !! We can't wait to check it out and see all the local vendors including our good friends .co 😉 see what we did there.. lol

ps. there's a bunch of availability at the dainty in december! A much slower time in the County but there's no shortage of coziness. 🌨🎄♥️

Looks sunny here 👆🏼🌞but we're looking at a few rainy days here in the County. We're sharing our fave places for take-out so you can get cozy in the Dainty and still enjoy the tasty eats of Picton.

Have you been to the County Cider Company in Waupoos? A nice cold drink on their patio overlooking the vines and inlet, add in a pizza to the mix!? What more could you ask for?

Definitely a favourite spot of ours. An 18 min drive from the Dainty or an hours bike ride! Which would you opt for? 🚲 or 🚗?
