After just over 2 years working with our clients on a new garage, cottage addition/renovation, and finally new boat house, it's seeing everything come together that's the most rewarding.

We received this message today from our client.

"Words can't explain how much we appreciated your guidance and skill. Not to mention how supportive you were at difficult times.

I hope to have an open house this summer and would love for you to come.

I hope you are as proud of the design as we are."

When looking to build your new dream home or retirement oasis, be mindful of advertising and additional upgrade packages. Large companies don't always be the one on site doing the work, but rather hiring sub-trades and can lose quality control.

Do your homework and know who you're hiring and be involved throughout the process. Even if you don't know everything, learn and know somethings so you have an understanding.

Today I had the pleasure to wish a team member all the best in their future endeavor after 10 years of teaching and managing them to become a team leader for Wrightsoft MiTek. Below is a message I received from Avinash as he takes his next steps in life, wherever that may be.

Firstly want to thank you for these wonderful words, you made my day. Feeling is mutual, you are and always will be a big brother to me. I am not leaving a client or a team but leaving a family behind.
I used to start and end my day talking to you and the team, it will feel weird now. Thank you for teaching us the best of HVAC design, you are awesome in every way! Thank you for believing in us as a Team to deliver results.
I will always be thankful that I came across you all during this journey. Meeting you all was a blessing indeed.

Our clients had spent 2.5 years working on trying to obtain permits to build their dream home. In January they came to Northern Designs and with our knowledge and expertise, we set a goal to start construction beginning of July 2022. Not only did we meet the clients expectations, we exceeded them.

Upon completion of the Residential Commissioning course, we are now RASDT certified with HRAI.

The HRAI Residential Air System Design Technician (RASDT) Designation was established in partnership with Natural Resources Canada (NRCan). The designation is awarded to all individuals who hold current certification for the following four HRAI training programs: Residential Ventilation using Section 9.32 of the Building Code OR Residential Ventilation using CSA F326, Residential Heat Loss & Heat Gain Calculations, Residential Air System Design and Residential Commissioning.
