All Party Interfaith Group

The All-Party Interfaith Parliamentary Friendship Group works to recognize both the cultural and religious diversity of Canadians and the values they have in common with each other. Drawing on the shared spiritual heritage of values enunciated by all faith groups, such as love; selfless service to others; assisting our society to advance; learning from each other; helping the vulnerable; empowering youth; and promoting honest interfaith dialogue, the All Party Interfaith Friendship Group works towards building a more compassionate, just and peaceful society. Le Groupe d’amitié parlementaire interconfessionnel multipartite travaille à reconnaître la diversité culturelle et religieuse des Canadiens et les valeurs qui leur sont communes. Inspiré des valeurs spirituelles communes établies par tous les groupes religieux, comme l’amour, l’altruisme, l’avancement de la société, l’apprentissage mutuel, l’aide aux plus vulnérables, le soutien aux jeunes et la promotion d’un dialogue interconfessionnel, il travaille à bâtir une société de plus grande compassion, plus juste et pacifique.
