This is a Curio Cabinet I built for a member of my extended family, to house the memories of his late wife who sadly passed away a few years ago. The cabinet itself is constructed with red oak plywood, while all of the pieces for the wrap around face frame and doors were constructed out of 4/4 red oak.The cabinet was then finished with line of products including their black water based stain, sealer, and top coat.

My brother an I built a bench for our grandfather as a present for Father’s Day as well as his birthday. The bench is made out of a pine slab that I had laying around the shop, it was then finished with to maintain the colour and protect against moisture.

A little while ago I built 2 large planters to be used as vegetable gardens for my aunt. The goal was to build a planter that was deep enough to grow root vegetables, without having to get down on the ground to maintain them. I built these planters out of cedar. They were then finished with linseed oil to maximize longevity and retain colour for as long as possible.

A few years ago I built a wishing well for a member of my family, and truthfully, it didn’t hold up as well as I hoped. There were a few things I could have done better to make it look much nicer and make it last much longer. So this weekend I went and removed it. I brought it back to the shop to make any necessary repairs and rebuilt the entire base. My brother sanded the top of the well so it would match the new base. First few pictures are of the new well, the last few are from when I removed the well.

When I first moved in I threw some tire racks together just to get the winters off the ground(Last picture), but after constantly looking at them, thinking about how much space I was wasting I finally decided to rebuild them. I also added some bike racks to maximize the space.
