I decided to open this shop in 2016 when I was trying to find great artwork for my children's bedrooms and wasn't finding what I wanted. I decided to use my graphic design background to create the art that I wanted with inspirational (and sometimes funny) quotes. My design aesthetic is simple and classic. I often use neutral tones and love the look of chalk on chalkboards, old barn wood, rocks, wa

ter, trees and anything else that is timeless and beautiful. I have since expanded to offer a selection of birthday, wedding and holiday cards. As my business has grown, I am happy to have re-ignited my passion for woodworking and am now offering hand painted wood signs, ruler growth charts, and first/last day of school chalkboards. As time marches on, my children grow and my aesthetic may change. I invite you and your friends to check back from time to time to see what is new and fresh.

Did you know that we moved? Autumn Blue Design used to have our local pick up location in Calgary, but we moved south!

Free local pick up is now on the north edge of Okotoks.

You can also pick up your order (if I know in advance) at one of our retail partner locations - Mahogany, Okotoks, & Strathmore!

Shipping is also available Canada-wide.

We could ship to the USA, but have removed the option from our website autumnbluedesign.com currently as the tariffs and border issues were making it complicated. Please DM us if you would like your order shipped to the USA (or internationally) and I can provide you with a quote on cost.

Enjoying my last moments with the sun shining on our holiday hearth. As the fireplace is new, I don’t know how I will decorate it in the new year! Those are next year problems…and not really problems at all.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! This year was a bit bittersweet and saw me evolve ABD into more of a seasonal business. The economy is tough right now and I had to take a hard look at whether or not the effort, rent, commissions, fees, costs and time put in was worth trying to keep things afloat in the non-holiday seasons. Turns out it isn’t at this time. So next year we plan to continue similarly. In January we will put our website on vacation mode and will take orders via DM, email or text. In about Oct. we will fire the website back up and dust off our social media and rev up to sleigh the holiday season. I still find so much joy in creating special ornaments for you all and I won’t be giving that up anytime soon.

I want to thank you so much for keeping ABD and this family business in your minds and hearts this year. It was an absolute pleasure creating with so many of you and I look forward to doing that for many years to come.

Until then, I wish you happiness, peace, hope, love and joy!

CUSTOM ORNAMENT ORDERS NOW OPEN! // We are excited to get started on your custom family, pet, memorial, yearly (and more) ornaments!

Place an order a few ways:

1. Head to AutumnBlueDesign.com and select Custom Metal Holiday Ornament. Follow the steps.

2. DM me here and I can walk you through the design process.

3. Email me at [email protected].

They are $23 (+GST) each and local pick up is free, but please note it is now in North Okotoks (rather than Calgary). Shipping is available upon request in North America.
