When it comes to occasional tables, few brands do it better than Kendo.
Designed and manufactured in Valencia, Spain, Kendo has built its reputation around a singular focus: creating beautifully crafted occasional furniture that balances architectural form with everyday function. Their collections are developed in collaboration with leading designers including Francesc Rifé, Mario Ruiz, and Studio Segers, resulting in pieces that feel both timeless and contemporary.
Within the Tusch collection, tables such as Beco, Clik, Toc, and Slot continue to be favourites among designers for their versatility, refined detailing, and ability to complement a wide range of hospitality, workplace, and residential environments. Clik, for example, pairs a lightweight metal structure with a variety of material options, creating a solution that adapts effortlessly across spaces.
From side tables to coffee tables and everything in between, Kendo proves that the most impactful pieces are often the ones that quietly bring a space together.

Not everyone could make it to NeoCon this year - so NeoCon’t 2026 brought a little of that energy back to Toronto.

Hosted by our valued partner COI, the event welcomed members of the architecture and design community for an evening of networking, inspiration, and product discovery at their downtown showroom.

We were proud to showcase some of Tusch Seating’s newest collections, including Kern, Cadenza, Meridies, and Bohème - demonstrating how thoughtful design can support the evolving needs of workplace, hospitality, and collaborative environments.

Thank you to the COI team for a great event and to everyone who stopped by to connect, explore, and share ideas. It’s always energizing to spend time with a community that continues to shape the future of design.

PERFECTLY PLACED - Often the smallest pieces have the biggest impact.

Occasional tables continue to be one of the most specified categories within the Tusch Seating collection - and for good reason. They bring flexibility, functionality, and personality to every environment, helping designers create spaces that feel complete.

From sculptural forms and natural materials to indoor and outdoor applications, our collection offers a breadth of options that few can match. Whether it’s the architectural presence of Zanco, the layered simplicity of Mika, the versatility of Grada, or the contemporary forms of Budino, Byron, and Maori, each collection is designed to complement the way people gather, work, and connect.

CIERRE 1972 - THE ART OF LEATHER.

Few materials communicate luxury, craftsmanship, and longevity quite like leather.

As the exclusive contract distributor of Cierre1972, Tusch Seating is proud to represent a brand that has spent more than five decades perfecting the art of leather furniture. Founded in 1972 and still family-led today, Cierre1972 has built its reputation on an uncompromising commitment to craftsmanship, quality, and Made in Italy design.

What sets Cierre1972 apart is its deep expertise in leather. From the selection and finishing of hides to cutting, sewing, upholstery, and final assembly, the company maintains extraordinary control over the production process. The same premium leathers are used throughout its collections - wrapping lounge chairs and sofas, while also appearing as beautifully crafted details on coffee tables and complementary furnishings.

The result is furniture that celebrates the material itself - where every texture, stitch, and edge reflects a heritage of craftsmanship refined over generations.

In a world increasingly focused on authenticity and permanence, leather remains one of design’s most enduring expressions.

Expormim continues to lead a quiet shift in outdoor furniture design - where wood is returning as a primary structural material.

Across outdoor lounge and seating collections, timber is in-creasingly replacing traditional aluminium frames, bringing warmth, tactility, and a stronger connection to natural context. The result is a more grounded language of design - architecturl, expressive, and materially honest.

Rather than a nostalgic choice, wood is becoming a contemporary one, aligning outdoor environments more closely with the comfort and character of interior living.

Within the Tusch collection, pieces such as Cadenza and Frames reflect this same evolution in material thinking - where structure is softened through grain, tone, and proportion.

High-gloss lacquer continues to define a distinct direction in contemporary furniture design - where surface becomes both material and reflection.

Its strength lies in contrast. The sharpness of reflection against soft architectural space. The way it amplifies form while introducing a sense of depth, clarity, and precision. Used thoughtfully, lacquer finishes shift pieces from functional objects into sculptural statements.

The FRANK table by Pedrali, designed by Patrick Jouin, demonstrates this balance with a refined structural language that feels both light and architectural. Similarly, the Treviso coffee table by Kendo Mobiliario explores simplicity through a polished surface that enhances proportion, form, and presence.

Together, they highlight how high-gloss finishes are not about excess - they are about control, intention, and visual impact.

A material that reflects more than light - it reflects design intent.
