Using a level as an edge guide for routing a stopped groove.

Work piece clamped to the bench, level clamped to the work piece, painter’s tape as stop indicators and you’re golden.

I need a pretty good reason to get the big plunge router out so I usually rely on the trim router when I have one or two grooves or dados to do. Light passes are key.
