We wanted to give one more huge THANK YOU to everyone that stopped by to check out our new showroom and sister store Needful Things Beads & More during the local Art Tour last weekend. The turnout was amazing and we got to meet so many more friendly faces and other local artists.
We would also like to thank the Maple Ridge & Pitt Meadows Art Studio Tour from the bottom of our hearts for bringing such great exposure to local artists in the community. As a small local business and artisan it can be hard to get the word out, so THANK YOU for all your efforts. We cannot wait for next year!

This piece was made our urban salved and ethically sourced Canadian Black Walnut, finish with our Canadian hardwax oils from Grand Finishing Systems and all the epoxy fills and inlays were done with our Canadian EcoPoxy

We are just over a week away from our local 2026 Business Awards and we wanted to reach out and say thank you all again for the nominations. K & K may not be able to be nominated for the Micro Business awards this year, but we are so proud to be considered for not only the Environment Leader of the Year, but also Young Entrepreneur.
It's truly amazing to be recognized in these categories, as a small local business our focus is not only to make beautiful sustainable Canadian home decor and furniture pieces, but to help build up and support our local artisan communities.

Check out this custom Canadian Black Walnut floating mantle piece we just finished. With our new SPR we were able to highlight the natural inclusions by filling them with a tinted black epoxy inlay and make the live edge mantle a perfect depth to fit.

K & K Custom Creations is nearly ready to open the door to their new beaded, vintage jewelry and supplies store "Needful Things Beads & More". We would like to invite you all to join us this Saturday from 10am - 4pm for our soft opening, our store is located right above our current storefront and is fully accessible from inside K & K. Come on by, say hi and check out our new shop.
At Needful Things we design and create custom handmade jewelry pieces from rings, bracelets, necklaces, beaded bags and more, as well as provide all the supplies to make your own beaded creation. We also specialise and carry retro and vintage jewelry like broaches, pins, rings, earrings and necklaces that are all available to try on and purchase.
Full hands on classes and workshops will also be available in the near future, as well as make your own jewelry kits that you can make in store or take home to DIY.
We cannot wait to see you this Saturday and if you can't make it, follow our new store at

This one is a work in progress.
Check out these stunning Black Walnut live edge pieces that we are getting all flattened down and cleaned up for a very unique custom L-desk.
We usually post a lot of our finished work, but we thought it would be more fun to start bringing you all along on the journey we take when creating our pieces. Stay tuned to see how this one comes together.

We have to say we are super proud of this one and love the fact that our own City is shopping and supporting local small businesses like us.
This Black Walnut floating shelf was designed with our "Bold By Nature" city moto in mind. We created the piece not only to fit the space, but to have a complimentary mountainous live edge back splash to bring a unique and natural look to what could have been just a simple floating shelf. We also incorporated a channel cutout into the shelf top to accommodate all the different types of marketing materials so they can be easily shown off and accessible for everyone.
