Here’s my newest piece. It took a while, it was hard to actually put together, but I think it’s a great piece. Vintage quilt paired with an old adidas shirt on the back, and I put together some patchwork with the logo tag then hand stitched it onto the pocket. DM for info.

In honour of us having to miss out on our weekend getaway in Algonquin due to illness, I reworked a vintage Northern Reflections sweater. It’s a womens large but fits more like a medium. One of a kind, $60.

I’m sad to say that my career as a stylist will be coming to an end at the end of January 2023. I’ve been diagnosed with degenerative osteoarthritis in my back which is being made worse with hours on my feet every day. I’ve been in pain for a very long time, and it’s to the point where I struggle to do everyday activities. So now I have to make the choice to take care of my body in order to stay active and mobile.
I’ll be working very closely with over the next two months, and they will be ready to take over all of my salon work. This way no one has to go searching for a new stylist (if they don’t want to), and can trust that their hair will continue to be in good hands. All of the barbers are phenomenal at what they do, and my barber guests will be in good hands with anyone they wish to see there. I still may be around the shop a bit in a different capacity, so chances are I’ll still get to enjoy a good chat with you guys. Thank you for being a part of such an incredible journey, I honestly feel like I’ve grown and learned so much from everyone who has sat in my chair over the years. It’s been such a pleasure to take care of your hair, and more than that, to get to know you. I hope you’ll still hang around to see my new journey begin. I love y’all.

There’s nothing better than having someone give me full freedom with their hair, and wanting to go extra vivid!! and I originally thought of going violet/red, but then I saw that amazing bright yellow tshirt and changed it up! And I’m so glad we did!!!! That hair + personality = perfection!!!!
