That Hobby Guy We hand build rustic decor items for indoor and outdoor use and we use a lot of re-purposed wood when it is available.

If you want new wood in your project just ask and we will be happy to accommodate. Welcome to "That Hobby Guy's" face book page. I am Ted Parks the owner/operator and master of the mancave,, lol. Like the title says it is just a hobby. Something to keep me out of my wife's hair now that I am retired, lol. I do not make buckets full of money building this stuff and I only work when I feel like it

so if you are in a hurry I am probably not the guy to build your custom piece, lol. BUT ~ ~ when I make a commitment to build something I will fulfill it. So if you see something you like on my page or have an idea you seen in a magazine or on Pinterest send me a note or give me a call and we'll see if we can put it together for you. All of the things I build can be modified to suit your taste, needs, and decor. We have also started teaching beginners woodworking to anyone interested. It is a course based on Safety in the workplace and it is fun. You will go home with a project that you can brag about " Look what I built today !!! The Troubled Monk commissioned me to build the Koozie Exchange, as shown. Built from an AI picture the GM designed. Had an awesome time building this project. Even with the challenges it was fun.
