The clocks go back 1 hour this weekend which means it will be dark by 5 -530 pm. When you are driving please be extra cautious as we all know nobody looks before crossing.It is also getting colder which means hats and scarves and less ability to see where they are walking.
A reminder as well to change your detector batteries, call your mother and get your carpets and/or furniture cleaned.
Remembrance day is also nearby so let's remember what thats all about. You may see some weird looking gents around town this month as it is Movember and razors get a holiday.
Lastly ,for now, Christmas will be here before you know it and supplies on many items are extremely low so buy now if you can and avoid the frantic search in 6 weeks. This message is brought to you by my little Zoe who just passed her probationary period of 90 days and will continue to enjoy her life in London.

We are once again open for full services. We will be following strict covid 19 guidelines of wearing masks, physical distancing (no persons in the homes where possible) and disinfecting all our equipment after each job. We will be limited to do one job per day at the beginning until others and myself feel comfortable with multiple jobs in one day. We will be insisting on honesty as far as illness or isolation are concerned as we don't want to put anyone at any risk at any time. As demand increases we will be careful (if possible) as to which jobs are completed on the same day. Please contact us at any time for a free quote and to book your appointment. Stay safe everyone.

A very happy easter to all the kids out there. Dogs and cats too. Remember to limit your intake of candy and chocolate but if you feel the need to overeat or if your animal friends feel they must, then we are here to help you deal with the upset stomachs and whatever may pass the esophagus on the way to your carpeted floors. As 2019 begins ,its time to look ahead and plan out your families direction for the year. A little hint to those dealing with young kids and puppies and their ability to dribble and drain their body fluids on your carpeted areas. A couple of do's and don'ts to make life a little less stressful.
Don't scrub the areas you are cleaning, dab or press your clean cloth on the area. Better yet ,grab your wet/dry vacuum and extract the soiled area.Use a spray bottle of vinegar and water and liberally spray the spot(s) and then press your cloth to remove the stain, or use the wet/dry vac.Repeat this until the area comes as clean as you think you can get it, Be patient.
Don't use flowery or fragrant cleaners when dealing with animal mistakes. This only encourages them to return to that area. The vinegar and water is sufficient.
Do vacuum often to avoid any grit or dirt to "sandpaper" your carpeted areas. Avoid black socks and knitted black slippers as they will cause darkened pilling in heavily traveled areas.Hard soled footwear is preferred.
Do use a very light brush when vacuuming your stairs to encourage the pile to stand up and be noticed. There are carpet "rakes" sold as carpet groomers that are very easy to use and very helpful to keep your stairs looking less traveled.
