This is the nicest sign kiosk you may never find. Originally meant to greet people as they arrived at the Bella Coola airport, for reasons I don't understand the project location was moved and it ended up well off the main road in a regional park.

This project was done with Black Sheep Timbers.

I really like how these cabinets turned out. I was able to match all the doors and panels very nicely. The fir goes beautifully with the log building and the shaker doors compliment the clean lines of the appliances and other fittings.

A floating record console of red cedar, with a live edge top and yellow cedar accents to compliment a bed and night stands I previously made.

This double sink vanity was waiting to get installed for a while. Distressed fir design to match the clients kitchen cabinets. A blend of rustic and contemporary.

Some of the tables and the last few chairs. I am very grateful to have done this work for the Bella Coola Motel. They wanted furniture designed and built in the valley from locally sourced wood. I know where all the trees grew that provided the wood for this project.

Designing and building a custom set of chairs. This has been a lot of fun. It has also been quite the process and it has taken a lot work to go from concept drawings to reality.

From sourcing local hardwoods, drying the wood, refining the design, creating templates and jigs, refining how to craft the individual pieces, carving the seats and sanding, sanding, so much sanding.

There will be more photos to come. There are 19 chairs in total each one unique. The one featured here is from a feral sweet cherry tree (prunus avium).
