How is it already Almost half way through April…I don’t know about you, but it has snuck up on me! With hubby on afternoons this week, 2 small kids, a demanding full time job, and completing a university course…I am tapped out this season. As a result of this crazy schedule, I won’t be able to make my usual DIY Cookie Kits for the 2022 Easter season. Wishing everyone a Happy Easter! 🐣🐰

It’s been a while since I’ve posted, there’s been so much happening lately…kids going back to school, working full-time, going back to school myself, it’s been a whirlwind!!

I’ve had a few people reaching out to ask if I’m doing any Halloween Cookie Kits…and the answer is Heck Yes!! I’ll be posting a pic of a sample kit next week and of course all of the details you’ll want to know! Stay tuned…🎃👻👹🤡🤖

Hooray, Easter’s on it’s way!!
I have designed our new DIY Easter Cookie Kits and I’m sure you’ll agree that they are so stinkin’ cute!! 🐣
The posted picture shows you what a large kit looks like and lists everything that comes in each kit (large - 12 cookie kit or small - 6 cookie kit).
Of course I’ve included a few BONUSES in the kits...2 additional cookies, a bag of bunny treats and tails, as well as an extra icing colour!!! WOW!!

I’ve been quiet the past 2 months on Social Media...I’ve been busy giving my kitchen a much needed, overdue facelift! It all started in January when we needed a new dishwasher...while the old one was disconnected and removed, we replaced the peel and stick flooring from the 70’s with something fresh and new...and that inspired me to get to work on refinishing and repainting out existing cabinetry. I am doing this part myself, so I’m taking it apart and refinishing in small stages!! I can’t wait to show you the finished product!
I will be done the lower cabinets in time for Easter Cookie Kit orders...stay tuned for more details!!🐰🐣🍪

Now THIS is a serious plate of stacked Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies! This recipe makes approx. 5 dozen (or 4 if you make them a little bigger like me)! 🍪🤤❤️

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies:
1 cup softened butter
2 cups packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla

2 cups all purpose flour
2 cups oats
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups chocolate chips
3/4 cup shredded coconut

Cream together butter and sugar, beat in eggs 1 at a time, add vanilla.

Add in dry ingredients (I mix them together in a separate bowl first) and mix well. Drop cookies (about the size of a jawbreaker...not the giant ones!!) onto a greased pan or a pan lined with Parchment paper and bake for 10 mins at 350F. YUM!
