In this video, we’re recoating an older piece and transforming it into something that looks brand new again.

At Quinze & Milan, many of our designs are built with foam. Over time, the coating can wear, but the core remains perfectly functional. Instead of replacing the furniture, we can recoat the piece, restoring its original look and feel.

Custom seating by Quinze & Milan at the Landesmuseum Hannover.

For this project by FORMSPEKTRUM, bespoke seating elements were developed to integrate seamlessly into the museum’s interior architecture. Among the highlights: a refined seating circle, carefully built into a bookcase structure — creating an inviting space for pause, reading, and interaction.
