🌎 Strengthening Military Health Cooperation in the Pan-American Region
The International Committee of Military Medicine (ICMM) is pleased to announce the upcoming Regional Assembly for the Pan-American Working Group. This event, reserved for official delegations, will take place on June 16 and 17, 2026, at the Superior School of Defense (ESD) in Brasília, Brazil.
Hosted by the Ministry of Defense of Brazil, this strategic meeting will bring together national delegates and representatives from the 15 member countries of the Pan-American Group to discuss the future of regional military healthcare.
Key focus areas of the program:
Scientific Sessions 🧪: Expert panels will explore "Civil-Military Cooperation in Logistics and Health Management," covering topics such as hospital assistance ships, remote area medicine, and CBRN emergency responses.
Strategic Assembly 🤝: Delegates will align on regional activities, discuss the 2027 Pan-American Congress, and formalize Brazil’s candidacy for the Group Presidency.
This event marks another step in our ongoing mission to share expertise and enhance health support within the Pan-American region.

Titre : 🌎 Renforcer la coopération en santé militaire au sein de la région panaméricaine
Le Comité International de Médecine Militaire (CIMM) annonce la tenue prochaine de l'Assemblée Régionale du Groupe de Travail Panaméricain. Cet événement, réservé aux délégations officielles, se déroulera les 16 et 17 juin 2026 à l'École Supérieure de Défense (ESD) de Brasília, au Brésil.
Organisée par le Ministère de la Défense du Brésil, cette réunion stratégique rassemblera les délégués nationaux et représentants des 15 pays membres du Groupe Panaméricain pour définir les orientations de la santé militaire régionale.
Points clés du programme :
Volet Scientifique 🧪 : Des panels d'experts aborderont la « Coopération civilo-militaire en logistique et gestion de la santé », incluant l'usage des navires d'assistance hospitalière, la médecine en zones isolées et la réponse aux urgences NRBC.
Assemblée Stratégique 🤝 : Les délégués coordonneront les activités régionales, prépareront le Congrès panaméricain du CIMM de 2027 et officialiseront la candidature du Brésil à la présidence du groupe.
Cette rencontre souligne notre engagement continu à partager l'expertise et à renforcer le soutien sanitaire au sein de la région panaméricaine.
