It is our great pleasure to announce that the Department of Information and Communication Engineering (ICE) has introduced newly designed B.Sc Engineering courses in 2011. The Department of Information and Communication Engineering was founded in 2000. During the ten years after its foundation, the department has expanded its research activities towards advanced wireless communication systems. The
departmental teaching staffs are making their enthusiastic efforts to provide quality based education on Wireless Communication technology, Electronics, Computer Programming and Networking, and develop professional skills of the undergraduate/postgraduate students with highly sophisticated Communications and Digital Electronics based scientific equipments. The department is under mission of training up the postgraduate students in cultivating their abilities to conduct experimental works with GSM, CDMA and OFDM Communication systems. With extensive development in IT sectors under materialization of Digital Bangladesh, the students with B.Sc/M.Sc degrees from this department are getting jobs in various organizations (Private/Public Universities, Vendors/Mobile operators, Software development/Computer Network installation Farms, Banks and other Telecommunication sectors. Engineering courses in Information and Communication Engineering shall be offered over a period of four academic years, each of a normal duration of one calendar year. The four academic years shall be designated as Part-I, Part-II, Part-III and Part-IV in succeeding higher levels of study. The academic year will be divided into two semesters (Odd and Even) each having a duration of 19 weeks. Under no circumstances, any student shall be allowed to continue his/her study for B.Sc.
