It seems to be the year for babies...not only have I been blessed with the arrival of our handsome little man Hamish, so many of my close friends are also enjoying motherhood for the first time. Whilst pregnant (and nesting) I really struggled to find artwork for the nursery that was not only the right design, but the right colours and more importantly, something that didn't cost the earth! So I d
ecided that I would try my hand at designing my own...surely it couldn't be that hard! Hamish now has a gorgeous set of primary coloured silhouetted owls to match back with the polka dot patchwork quilt and mobile I made for him. It's not easy to find a gift for a newborn that is not only beautiful but also has a personal touch - this is why I started to design more prints for family and friends. Starting with either a theme or colour palette I worked with the 'mum-to-be' to design something that suited their nursery decor. On the recommendation of some (persistent) friends, I have decided to start selling these prints so that others can give their own unique and personalised gifts. Each artwork is printed on quality (A4) textured acid free paper, and can be purchased with or without the frames. Stay tuned for photos of artwork and prices...
