That's a wrap from us! We're officially on holidays until 04th January.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your families. While 2020 has certainly been a challenging one for many, all we can say is that tough times don't last but tough people will.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has asked Coast 2 Coast Industrial to help with a project this year, from gate and fence design and install, to customising trailers, installing sporting equipment, emergency repairs on machinery and specialty welding. We appreciate your trade and look forward to more custom creations in 2021.

What it really means to offer a mobile welding service - is both convenience, plus time and money saved.

Here we are repairing a fertilizer box for a farmer in Sarina. The convenience for the farmer means less downtime for him; we can get the job finished in a fraction of the time compared with shipping the equipment into an engineering workshop. Saving both time and money for our agricultural clients is why we offer mobile.

Did you know? During the second world war advancements in welding allowed ships to be built in super quick time.

The record for the fastest built ship was the SS Robert E Peary which was constructed in 1942, taking just 4 days, 15 hours and 27 minutes. Funnily enough, this record still stands today. As for the ship herself…well, she had an illustrious career, operating in both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans before eventually being scrapped in 1963.

: Can I refill my gas bottle with a different gas?

Once a bottle is filled with a particular gas or mixture, nothing else should ever be used in the bottle. Bottles are designed for safety in some cases. In other words, a helium bottle is threaded differently than an 02 bottle so the regulator will not interchange.
