JCMC Completed the 1st/2nd HPS Drydock Vessels for China Shipping Group Successfully
2015-10-23 - The first and second HPS Drydock vessels for China Shipping Group were successfully completed on 29th Aug and 7th September.
29th Aug 2015, 229,008DWT bulker carrier MV “CSB HOPE”, the 1st HPS drydock vessel from China Shipping Bulk Carrier CO.LTD (China Shipping Bulkers) was docked out from China Shipping (Shanghai Changxing) Indusrty Co., Ltd. Then, 7th Sep 2015, 4,250 TEU container MV “XIN HAI KOU”, the 1st HPS drydock project from China Shipping Container Lines CO.LTD (CSCL) was finished in Chengxi Shipyard (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. Both China Shipping Bulkers and CSCL are affiliated to China Shipping (Group) Company (China Shipping).
China Shipping Bulkers Technology/Information Division GM Mr. Xiao Kebin, Capesize fleet Vice GM Mr. Chen Xian took this project very seriously and visited on-site to ensure the project progress. JCMC Sales Director – M&R East, KAM Mr. Cheng Jianqun, Key Account Manager Mr. Ling Nanping, Sales manager Mr. Safin Hua also went on-site to communicate with shipyard and shipowner about the application.
In order to get this breakthrough with China Shipping, sales and Marketing analyzed AIS data of target vessels and promoted our HPS concept including JHPMM times and times. Global HPS team and Jotun China top management also supported this project very much. Next step we will work hard and try to secure more HPS projects and more market share from China Shipping.
