Scot Swanborn, of Swanborn Woodworking, creates one-of-a-kind designs that reflect the care and artistry of a master craftsman who excels at making projects that fit the needs and vision of his clients. At Swanborn Woodworking, every project, every design, every piece is unique.
Educated as an environmentalist, Scot enjoys using his artistry to bring the beauty of wood and the natural environment into people’s homes in a manner that enriches their lives. He specializes in cabinetry, built-ins, and architectural woodwork for every room of a home. He helps clients with projects large and small – from crafting a door or a bathroom vanity to designing built-in cabinetry for an entire office or kitchen. He selects his woods with care, seeking wood that is well suited for the project, meets the aesthetic preferences of his clients, and results in a combination of artistry with functionality.
Over a period of years, Scot has transformed homes by producing distinctive, handcrafted creations that reflect the personality and style of their owners and integrate with other elements in their home. His work is the focal point of homes throughout the Burlington, VT area.
Along with his own designs, Scot produces fine furniture designed by John Lomas, founder of Cotswold Furniture Makers (Stowe, VT).
