VOLUNTEER WORK - Its good for the soul!

Driving from Mount Gambier to Nelson regularly this roadside has not been maintained and was a site for sore eyes. As town that relies on tourism, I thought I'd take it upon myself to improve tourists first impression of entering our lovely little town. The growing season is almost here, Ill look at maintaining other roadsides around Nelson to keep our town tidy.

Tomorrow starts with me volunteering more time to the Blue Lake Golf Club. As a former Greenskeeper & golfer I have offered some of my time weekly to improve some areas around the course where my help is needed and expertise can be utilised.

Regular mowing is a must for great looking lawns! This lawn in particular had been left for far too long. Usually small backyards would be push mowed, however I had to call in the ride on to make easy work of slashing it down. Spring is almost here 🌸

Overgrown Banksia was leaning hard on this shed roof if you can see it and has rusted a hole through. Big removal of tree limbs as many may know the branches are extremely heavy. Cleared excess debris off roof so it can be replaced.
