Love the spicy ones…

Reptiles, as all animals and souls can, have different demeanours and personalities. This fella in particular was maybe just having a bad morning. As we all can somedays 🙃

This relocation was a make do situation. No bag, no hook, just a lovely lady with her chickens, and a spare empty feed bag. Maybe that’s a life motto, even without the right tools you can still get the job done 🤪

Due to some personal circumstances I am currently unavailable on the coast for relocations and rescues and have relocated to a station in Western Queensland. Bit of a big change but I am loving it out here. Nature is so incredibly peaceful and healing.

Although I’m not available or contactable 24/7, please don’t hesitate to contact me for advice or information. I can recommend some wonderful snake catchers and rescues if need be, and information on things to do. The best thing for the animal and yourself in the end is not having it relocated, but at times we simply have no choice. I’ll be back into it when the time comes!

😶 There’s a possum in the roof! What should I do? 🤔
It’s late at night and all is quiet… suddenly there’s a scampering coming from above and you know a possum’s taken up residence in your roof!

It’s a common occurrence in the Australian suburbs, so it makes sense that it’s one of our top calls for help.

If a possum keeps you up at night, it might be time to find them a new home. Why not try making them a possum box to affix in a tree on your property? They might be encouraged to nest there and not in potentially dangerous spots like roofs.

Please remember - it's illegal to remove or relocate any wildlife without a permit. So, alternative housing and fixing internal roof access points are the easiest solution. You can also call a professional wildlife relocator to assist. But, if your roof spaces aren't fixed, you'll have a new visitor cozying up in your home in no time!

Apologies if I’ve been uncontactable the last few weeks! I’ve been overseas chasing Northern Lights, toboggans, snow boards, husky tours, snow mobiles, ice carts, much more and the true locals experience.

Even saw a squirrel!!!! (I was super stoked about that)

I’ll be back from about the 2nd of April for any needed help with our critters.
