Jason the Painter started work in 1994 and has worked primarily with residential repaints and renovations. Some Commercial work has been undertaken though high-rise unit blocks – external repaints are not our specialty. Our client satisfaction ensures we are welcomed back when they purchase a new property or require a repaint or renovation work. These clients also refer us to their friends, family
and neighbours. Throughout the years we have done a wide range of decorative finishes. Specialising in restoration and repair work. Water damage, rising damp, degraded timber, peeling ceilings and walls to name a few. Whilst every effort is taken to ensure your work is repairable it isn’t always possible and at our free consultation we will advise you if this is the case and our recommendation is for you to replace the substrate. We have in the past employed other painters to work with us and have found that no-one had the same attention to detail and high standard of work that we required therefore we are now a one man operation. From time to time when we have had jobs too be to be completed by one person we do have access to a network of painters who assist us with our work, at all times though the job is under the immediate control of Jason Haithwaite. Background History:
In 1990 Jason followed a Haithwaite family tradition and became an apprenticed Painter & Decorator to his father Ben Haithwaite.
1994 saw him branch out on some work of his own whilst still working predominately for Ben, by 1995 he was working entirely with his own clients. Upon returning from a 1996 trip overseas a 2000 letterbox drop flyer was distributed through Seaforth costing $40; all our work now comes from repeat clients or word of mouth. The Letter Box Drop has been the only form of paid advertising we have ever done.
