A new year with a new goal - chill vibes only, and this is is exactly what this soft earthy muted sage colour represents with these bedsides. 🙌 This colour is eveeerything! It’s sophisticated, grounding and calming, I just love it! It’s the very first time I’ve ever used , and this colour - Bellwood, was a dream to work with, like it literally went on like butter! 😍

Aren’t the mango wood handles gorgeous too? They’re so on trend right now and complement this soft sage colour beautifully.👌

A lovely woman named Alice owned this beautiful vintage sideboard. It was inherited from her mother-in-law in 1967 who had it for many years before it was passed down to her. 🙌

The drawers and cupboards used to be filled with beautiful cutlery and china from her mother and mother-in-law that only made an appearance at special occasions like weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, graduations and Christmas dinners. She said that her husband had a beautiful rose garden and always made sure she had fresh roses when they bloomed, in a vase centre stage on the top. Her home filled with the fragrance of roses, she would sit in her dining room just admiring those red and white beauties. This sideboard will always bloom beautiful roses no matter what the season as they sit centre stage, this time, on the drawer fronts. 🌹

Alice’s husband passed away six months ago so she had to downsize and move to a retirement home and couldn’t take her beloved sideboard filled with happy memories so I promised her that I would honour those beautiful memories and do something special, so this piece is for you, Alice! 🥰

R O Y A L • D A M A S K 👑

This beautiful vintage sideboard looks elegant with the Redesign With Prima Transfer - the red and white roses are stunning so it was only fitting to use Dixie Belle Royal Damask Stencil because of its connection with the Damask Rose. Did you know that the Damask Rose symbolises beauty and love? I just think that’s beautiful and romantic!🌹❤️

The transfer is called “Midnight Floral” so I decided to paint the overall piece a dark charcoal and that’s why I chose Dixie Belle Silk Mineral Black Sands Paint. I highlighted its beauty even more with the Gemstone Mousse Gold Gem. I was only meant to do the lions paw/claw feet in Gold Gem but I was in the zone and channeling my inner Kacha who I felt so inspired by when I was creating this masterpiece and had to sprinkle gold everywhere ✨😉

I just love how the Gemstone Mousse brings the Royal Damask Stencil to life! I love the smaller size version of the stencil on the inside (see previous post), it’s such a nice little surprise as you open each door, and then flowing out to each side. The stencil and gemstone mousse combo just elevates this beauty, truly making it look and feel royal! I love it! ❤️

This is the first time I’ve ever used a transfer and of course it had to be Redesign With Prima. I’ve admired their beautiful line of products for so long and I knew “Midnight Floral” would be perfect for this gorgeous sideboard/buffet 🖤

It was sooo easy to use and I’ll definitely be using more in the future. Can’t wait to show you more 😉

These gorgeous girls were sold within 20 minutes of listing with back up buyers eagerly awaiting to see if the sale would fall through so they could snap them up but unfortunately for them they were picked up and already on their way home. 🏡🥰

I love the simplicity of this duo. They can stand alone with little to no styling and still shine. ✨

So happy these beauties found their perfect home with gorgeous . I cannot wait to see photos of them in their new Boho/Hamptons styled home so watch this space fam! 💛

Our last full reveal photo didn’t do these beauties justice 🤦‍♀️ so we thought we’d redo it again because we can 🙃🤣. We’ve had so many people reach out to us about what we used and how we did the drawer fronts. It was the very first time we used paintable wallpaper and we were nervous but took a deep breath and jumped right in and guess what fam?! It was sooo much easier than we thought 🙌 so this coming week we will show you just how easy the process is so you can do it too! 👊
