A consistent focus on material, light and form, each presented in a considered, architectural way. From immersive lighting installations to quieter, residential settings, the approach felt intentional and grounded.
Across each space, there was a clear emphasis on how pieces sit within a room, not just as objects, but as part of a broader living environment.

One of us - Joe Catania

His pick? The Mattiazzi Branca Chair - or as he calls it, “the Ferrari of dining chairs.”
Crafted with precision and inspired by nature’s own architecture, Branca captures the elegance of branches that twist, meet and evolve. A timeless piece that’s as much sculpture as it is seat.

DISTRICT. TOMORROW'S MAKERS FOR TODAY.

From the beginning, District Furniture has been adaptable and responsive, growing from a ‘tables and chairs’ business to one that plays an active role in its industry. This journey has helped us better understand who we are and how we can contribute.

We’ve always looked for ways to improve and innovate, seeking out fresh approaches to meet the needs of our clients and the broader industry. Today, we’re proud to be part of a community of creatives working together to find thoughtful design concepts for the future. This spirit of collaboration and innovation is reflected in our new brand identity, which is a sharper, more honest version of who we’ve always been.

Over the past 17 years, District has evolved from a small Perth-based “tables and chairs” business into a national design company with a distinct voice, strong partnerships, and a clear purpose. Our refreshed brand reflects that growth. It’s about communicating who we are today confident, collaborative, and unapologetically ourselves.

We tell stories, build partnerships, and shape culture. The visual identity and tone are vibrant, human, and full of energy, capturing the essence of who we are as a company. It reflects who we are, not who we’re trying to be. "Tomorrow’s Makers for Today” captures the spirit behind our work. We’re driven by ideas that shape the future and work with partners who do the same.

We’re excited to share our new identity.
