Hanging and painting another door. I had to colour match this one to get the same type of white as the other doors.

After the first coat, you won’t expect an even result. But it is just gorgeous how the second coats smoothens everything out.

But you do need a good quality paint! For this one I used a water based paint from Dulux paint, which always gives a smooth finish.

This was a small woodworking project. The customer wanted a box to be able to bring his wall exactly 65 mm forward to be able to plumb the toilet at the right spot.

Let me know if you have any woodworking projects you need help with :-)

I love working with wood! And continue to invest in the tools to do it better. This project was to help my friend make some legs for his table.

We tried some techniques found on YouTube and it worked surprisingly well.

Don’t you just love that part where you can just break the wood with your fingers?!

I was asked to repair a floor that had been opened for a plumber but was cut on the wrong spots. This + the previous repair caused the floor to be unstable and some boards were missing.

This quickly turned into a much larger job as I needed to:
-Resize new boards
-Add new supports
-Undo previous repairs
-Level out the floor
-Sand it
-The customer finished it off by applying the finish.

This bathroom had a 5m high ceiling and walls that had seen better days!

This paint job took about 3 days with half of the time spent on prepping. Making sure it will last a lot longer, I needed to:
1. Mask, 2. Scrape 3. Prime affected areas, 4. Fill, 5. Sand 6. Prime again, 7. Paint ceiling with two coats 8. Paint walls in different colour with two coats. 9. Clean up and leave it spotless 10. Enjoy the result.

Little projects like these are right up my alley.

This was a small woodworking project for our AirBNB. We put an exhaust fan in and made a wooden box to make it look better. We love to improve the look of the guesthouse and the experience of our guests.

When working on gardens, it can be hard to keep up with Jacob’s speed. Luckily, we have time-lapses, which make everybody look as fast as he is.
