A little throwback worth sharing. 🪵💚

Last year our Chix got to do something pretty special. We partnered with WWF Australia, HP and ANU to build 166 nest boxes for endangered greater gliders in Toolangi, Victoria.

The forests there are too young to have formed tree hollows, so these gliders had nowhere safe to raise their young. Our Chix helped change that.

We are proud of every single box built. This is what happens when women show up with their hands and their hearts.

Homeschool families, Term 2 workshops are running now at Woodchix.

Students learn real woodworking skills in a proper workshop environment. Tool safety, joinery, building something they can take home.
Beginner and Intermediate/Advanced classes on Mondays through to June.

Places are limited so get in quick.

Look what one of our Chix made! 🪵
Anne finished this beauty using wedged tenons, a 40mm silky oak slab and recycled legs that are around 100 years old.
A little something, she says. We reckon it's stunning.
